Hermès employed 26,494 people at the end of 2025, up from 25,185 a year earlier and 18,137 at the end of 2021, its 2025 Universal Registration Document shows; 16,349 of them, or 62%, work in France. The house says it created nearly 6,200 jobs over the past three years, more than 3,500 of them in France. By 30 June 2026 the workforce had reached 27,107, the H1 2026 results say, while revenue for the nine months to September rose to €12.26 billion.

Hermès' 2025 Universal Registration Document, which now counts permanent and temporary employees under the CSRD definition, restates its workforce at 22,879 at the end of 2023 and 18,137 at the end of 2021, and reports 26,494 at 31 December 2025.
Hermès employees grew from 14,284 in 2018 to 22,040 in 2023. In 2019, the company had 15,417 employees, 16,600 in 2020, 17,595 in 2021, and 19,686 in 2022.
