AI Daily: Gemini’s Price Date, Bumble’s Premium, Arm’s $2

Prices and terms ran through the day’s news by our grouping. On 13 October 2026 Google said the $2/$10 introductory price for Gemini 4 Argon expires on 30 November 2026. Bumble agreed to a $6.05-a-share cash offer from Ithaca that the companies call an approximately 138% premium. XBOW said about $40,000 of compute won it Google’s $250,000 Chrome bounty, and a Delaware jury awarded Qualcomm $2 after finding that Arm breached its license.

The other threads are deals and revenue, data centres and the debt behind them, and agents and who controls them. Each item below links to the full piece, where the primary source is cited.

Business Pill · AN INTRODUCTORY PRICE

A one-minute explainer of an introductory price: a low launch price that runs until a set date, then the normal rate. It teaches the general idea only and says nothing about any company in this roundup.

The key insight: As we read it, the day’s figures are prices and terms more than launches: Google put a date on the end of Gemini 4 Argon’s introductory price, the Bumble deal comes with what the companies call an approximately 138% premium, XBOW set about $40,000 of compute against a $250,000 bounty, and the jury in Qualcomm’s case against Arm awarded $2.

Figures of the day, 13 October 2026: one figure from each of 12 linked stories, including Gemini 4 Argon’s $2/$10 to $4/$20 prices, Bumble’s approximately 138% premium and the $2 jury award in Qualcomm’s case against Arm
One figure from each of 12 of the day’s linked stories, as each piece reports it. The figures use different units and sources and are not comparable with each other.

The Structural Read

Several of the day’s figures are the companies’ own, and the pieces say so: XBOW’s about $40,000 is its own figure for API charges, Anthropic’s 30,000 merges a day comes from its Engineering blog post, and Runpod’s $325 million is the ARR it reports.

Two financial companies set out limits for outside AI agents on the same day: JPMorgan, through Jamie Dimon’s remarks as reported by CNBC, and American Express, through the Intent Intelligence framework it published.

Several deal pieces leave out a figure, and say so: Workday did not disclose a price for C1.ai, Doctolib did not specify the size or value of NVIDIA’s stake, and Amex’s release gives no price and no adoption figures.

Anthropic, Engineering blog (13 October 2026), as quoted in our piece

BUMBLE SHAREHOLDERS The release says shareholders will receive $6.05 per Class A share in cash, which the companies call an approximately 138% premium to Bumble’s unaffected closing share price on 9 October 2026.

The Business Engineer Lens

This story maps onto the Business Engineer framework The CFO’s Guide to the Token Economy.

The framework puts it this way: “The cost of intelligence is collapsing while the cost of deploying intelligence is exploding.”

As we read it, Tuesday’s coverage shows prices on both sides of that line: Google dating the end of Gemini 4 Argon’s $2/$10 introductory price, and XBOW putting about $40,000 of compute behind a $250,000 bounty.

What Is Not Established

This roundup adds no new reporting. Every figure above is taken from the linked FourWeekMBA piece, each of which was built from its own primary source. The five threads and the counts in our charts are our grouping, not a finding.

We do not claim that any of these stories caused another, or that the prices and terms above are comparable. Several figures are the companies’ own, such as XBOW’s $40,000 of compute and Anthropic’s 30,000 merges a day, and some items give no price: Workday’s deal for C1.ai, NVIDIA’s stake in Doctolib and Amex’s framework.
