Users, trips and frequency
Uber counts monthly active platform consumers (MAPCs): people who completed at least one ride or received at least one delivery in a month. It does not report ‘riders’ and ‘eaters’ separately, so the same person using both counts once.
Frequency is the quiet driver. Trips grew faster than users (18% vs 16%) in Q2 2026, so each active consumer used Uber a little more often: about 6.25 trips per month. Membership (Uber One) and the cross-sell between rides and delivery push frequency up, and frequency is what makes the network denser.
