What drives Uber Freight
Freight connects shippers with trucking carriers through Uber’s platform and brokerage. Its revenue is close to its gross bookings ($1.58B vs $1.57B in Q2 2026), because Uber books the full value of the load as revenue and pays most of it on to carriers. The margin sits in the small spread between the two.
Through 2025 Freight was flat, at about $1.26โ1.31 billion of revenue a quarter, in a weak freight market. Q2 2026 was the first strong quarter of growth in two years.
