Anthropic’s own help-centre page names the firms expected to sell shares to retail investors outside the US in its proposed IPO (Anthropic). By our count, the page lists 33 distinct broker and selling-agent names across 14 countries: Australia, Canada, nine European Economic Area states, Japan, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The page says the offering “is expected to include retail offerings” in those places, and that “Anthropic does not currently intend to list its Class A common stock on any exchange in such international jurisdictions”.
Business Pill · Financial Conditions
An evergreen Business Engineer explainer on financial conditions. It teaches the general idea only and does not discuss Anthropic’s IPO.
The key insight: Anthropic’s help-centre page names 36 broker and selling-agent entries, 33 distinct names by our count, for proposed retail IPO offers in 14 countries outside the US, and says it does not currently intend to list on an exchange in those jurisdictions.
The Brokers by Region
For Australia the page lists Bell Potter, CommSec, LGT Wealth, Macquarie, Morgans, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, Sharesies and Stake. For Canada it lists BMO Capital Markets, CIBC Capital Markets, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets, Scotiabank, TD Securities and Wealthsimple.
For the EEA and Switzerland it lists BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank, eToro, flatexDEGIRO, Interactive Brokers, Nordnet Bank AB, Revolut, Saxo Bank, Trade Republic and UBS Investment Bank. The nine EEA states named are Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden.
For Japan it lists Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley, Mizuho, Rakuten and SBI. For the UK it lists AJ Bell, eToro, Hargreaves Lansdown, Interactive Brokers, Interactive Investor and Revolut, and says “RetailBook is acting as the Public Offer Platform (POP) operator and is coordinating the retail offer for the UK”.
The page adds: “In these jurisdictions, Anthropic has not authorized any other firm or platform to offer, or to advertise access to, shares in the proposed retail offerings”. It says the page “will be updated if the list changes”.

Our Numbers
The page has 36 broker entries: 8 for Australia, 7 for Canada, 11 for the EEA and Switzerland, 4 for Japan and 6 for the UK, by our count. Three names appear in both the EEA and UK lists (eToro, Interactive Brokers and Revolut), which leaves 33 distinct names, counted as the page writes them. The 14 countries are the 9 EEA states plus Australia, Canada, Japan, Switzerland and the UK, by our count.
How Each Offer Works
The page’s disclaimers describe a different route in each place. In Australia, an Australian prospectus would be lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission; the page says Anthropic “has applied to list its Class A common stock on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol” ANT and “will not be applying for listing on the Australian Securities Exchange”.
In Canada, the page says an amended and restated preliminary base PREP prospectus “has been filed with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces and territories of Canada”. In the EEA and Switzerland, the offer would rest on a European prospectus that the page says must first be approved by Germany’s financial regulator, BaFin. In Japan, a securities registration statement “has been filed with the Kanto Regional Finance Bureau” but has not yet become effective.
In the UK, Hargreaves Lansdown’s page defines the shares offered to include, where the context requires, CREST depository interests representing them one for one, with the offer facilitated through RetailBook’s platform (Hargreaves Lansdown). It also tells readers that “When you apply for Shares you will not know the exact purchase price or how many Shares you may receive, if any”.
Connecting the Coverage
We reported the UK retail plan and RetailBook’s role (our piece), the eight Australian brokers (our piece), the Japan share sale (our piece) and the plan to offer up to 20% of the IPO to retail investors (our piece). This page is the first single list from Anthropic itself that we have read covering every international jurisdiction, including the Canadian and European brokers.
The roadshow is reported to start next week (our piece); our map of the open questions is here, and the leveraged ETFs filed on the stock are here.
The Structural Read
As we read the list, the retail offers run through a mix of national banks and app-based brokers: the EEA list includes Trade Republic, Revolut and eToro alongside BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank.
As we read the disclaimers, each country uses its own legal route: an Australian prospectus, a Canadian PREP prospectus, a BaFin-approved European prospectus, a Japanese registration statement and RetailBook’s UK platform.
As we read the page, the listing Anthropic has applied for is on Nasdaq and it does not currently intend to list in these 14 countries, so retail buyers there would hold a US-listed stock.
Anthropic help centre
“In these jurisdictions, Anthropic has not authorized any other firm or platform to offer, or to advertise access to, shares in the proposed retail offerings.”
Three Implications
FOR RETAIL INVESTORS ABROAD The page names the firms Anthropic expects to use in each country and says it will be updated if the list changes.
FOR BROKERS The page says Anthropic has not authorized any other firm or platform in these jurisdictions to offer or advertise access to the shares.
FOR THE LISTING The page says Anthropic has applied to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol ANT.
The Business Engineer Lens
This story maps onto the Business Engineer framework The AI Supercycle.
The analysis says: “The job of any operator, investor, or builder is to know which layer they are operating inside and which layer the binding constraint is rotating toward next.”
As we read it, a retail IPO offer spread across 14 countries is one way a model company raises capital for the compute layer. The analysis does not discuss Anthropic’s retail offers.
What Is Not Established
The page gives no date, no price, no share count and no size for any of the retail tranches. It says the offers are “expected” and proposed, and the regulators’ approvals it describes in Canada, the EEA, Switzerland and Japan were not complete in the text we read. The 33 and 36 counts are ours and treat each name as the page writes it. This is not investment advice.
The Bottom Line
Anthropic’s help-centre page lists 36 broker entries, 33 distinct names by our count, for retail IPO offers in 14 countries, and says Anthropic does not currently intend to list its stock on an exchange in those jurisdictions. The page says Anthropic has applied to list on Nasdaq under the symbol ANT.
