CoreWeave and Dell Become CrowdStrike’s Route to AI Buyers

CrowdStrike opened Fal.Con Europe in Barcelona on 2 November with two deals that put its Falcon security platform next to the AI compute customers buy. CoreWeave is bringing Falcon protection and 24/7 managed security to customers running AI workloads on its cloud, and Dell customers can now buy CrowdStrike security together with the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, according to two joint releases.

The two routes differ on one point: who watches the customer around the clock. In the CoreWeave offering, the 24/7 managed detection and response is CrowdStrike’s own Falcon Complete Cloud Security. In the Dell offering, Dell’s own MDR service is expanding to “exclusively manage these CrowdStrike capabilities.” Across the two releases we count 7 capability slots, 6 distinct Falcon offerings and 1 that appears in both, Falcon Cloud Security (our tally).

Business Pill · Distribution Advantage Explained

A short explainer on how owning the route to the customer becomes a competitive advantage. It teaches the general idea only and says nothing about CrowdStrike, CoreWeave or Dell.

The key insight: As we read it, CrowdStrike is attaching Falcon to the point where AI compute is bought: on 2 November CoreWeave and Dell became the 2 of 7 Fal.Con Europe releases that put Falcon with an AI compute seller, and the two deals split on who runs the 24/7 monitoring.

What CoreWeave Is Offering

CrowdStrike and CoreWeave called the deal an expanded strategic partnership to secure production AI at scale. The release says CoreWeave is bringing Falcon platform protection and 24/7 managed security expertise to customers running mission-critical AI workloads on its cloud. The joint offering names four capabilities: Falcon Cloud Security across cloud workloads, containers and GPU clusters; Falcon Adversary OverWatch threat hunting; Falcon Complete Cloud Security managed detection and response; and CrowdStrike Elite Support.

“Production AI is becoming mission-critical, and adversaries know it,” said Daniel Bernard, CrowdStrike’s chief business officer. “CoreWeave powers some of the world’s most advanced AI. CrowdStrike secures where it runs.” Jon Jones, CoreWeave’s chief revenue officer, said: “Security is engineered into CoreWeave Cloud from the ground up.”

The relationship also runs the other way. The release says CoreWeave provides the AI platform supporting the training and inference for CrowdStrike SafeMind, the family of security models CrowdStrike introduced with NVIDIA on 1 September. The two companies first announced a partnership on 5 November 2025, at Fal.Con Europe 2025. That puts 362 days between the first announcement and CoreWeave bringing Falcon to its own customers, by our arithmetic.

The two AI compute routes CrowdStrike announced on 2 November 2026: the Falcon capabilities named in the CrowdStrike-CoreWeave and CrowdStrike-Dell joint releases, and who provides the 24/7 managed detection and response in each. The 7 / 6 / 1 tally is our count from the two releases.

What Dell Is Selling

The Dell release describes an integrated security solution for the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. Through Dell’s AI Ecosystem Program, it says, “customers can purchase AI infrastructure and CrowdStrike security together,” aligned with NVIDIA’s AI Factory Reference Architecture. Three Falcon capabilities are named: Falcon Guardian for AI agents and applications, Falcon Cloud Security for infrastructure and workloads, and Falcon Next-Gen SIEM for security operations.

Falcon Guardian builds on NVIDIA’s OpenShell reference architecture, with the OpenShell secure runtime integrated today. The release says CrowdStrike plans to add integration of NVIDIA Sentry and NVIDIA BlueField-4 DPUs. “CrowdStrike is bringing its cybersecurity platform to the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA and extending support to NVIDIA OpenShell,” said Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s founder and CEO.

“Security cannot be an afterthought in an AI-powered world,” said George Kurtz, CrowdStrike’s CEO and founder. Michael Dell, Dell’s chairman and CEO, said that “with CrowdStrike’s AI-native security integrated from the start, they can move forward with confidence.”

Two Channels, One Overlap

Set side by side, the two offerings share one product. Falcon Cloud Security appears in both; Adversary OverWatch, Falcon Complete Cloud Security and Elite Support appear only at CoreWeave; Falcon Guardian and Next-Gen SIEM appear only at Dell. That is 7 slots and 6 distinct offerings, by our count.

As we read it, the split follows the buyer. A CoreWeave customer rents GPU capacity in CoreWeave’s cloud, and the CoreWeave offering adds CrowdStrike’s own hunters and managed response on top. A Dell AI Factory buyer runs the hardware itself, and the Dell offering hands the managed layer to Dell’s services arm while adding agent security through Falcon Guardian.

The Rest of the Fal.Con Europe Slate

CrowdStrike’s pressroom lists 7 releases dated 2 November; the CoreWeave and Dell deals are the 2 that place Falcon with sellers of AI compute. The others announced a partnership with Dynatrace with three integrations available today, an expanded alliance with Deloitte Spain that extends into AI-powered risk advisory with Falcon IQ, the appointment of Roland Stritt to accelerate European alliance growth, and a multi-million-dollar Falcon Flex commitment in Q1 FY27 by Ignition Technology, which works with more than 1,000 partners across Europe.

CrowdStrike also expanded Project QuiltWorks across Europe, naming 15 partners joining it (our count), including Atos, BT, Computacenter, Deutsche Telekom Security, Orange Cyberdefense and Telefรณnica. On 29 October it said 70 partner sponsors would back the sold-out conference, which brings together 3,000 security leaders from over 1,200 organizations across 83 countries.

How the Stock Took It

24/7 Wall St. reported that Deutsche Bank analyst Brad Zelnick upgraded CrowdStrike to Buy from Hold on 2 November and raised his price target to $300 from $240, citing a “tsunami of cyber demand materializing as the AI frontier advances.” The same report put CrowdStrike stock at $242.58, down 3% early in the session, as cybersecurity stocks sold off to open the week.

The Structural Read

As we read it, the CoreWeave deal is a channel and a supplier relationship at once: CoreWeave brings Falcon to customers on its cloud, and the same release says CoreWeave supports the training and inference for CrowdStrike SafeMind.

As we read it, the Dell deal hands the service layer to the partner: Dell customers can buy AI infrastructure and CrowdStrike security together, and the release says Dell’s own MDR service is expanding to exclusively manage those CrowdStrike capabilities.

As we read it, the agent layer is where the two offerings differ most: Falcon Guardian appears only in the Dell AI Factory release, built on NVIDIA OpenShell, while the CoreWeave offering centres on workloads, containers and GPU clusters.

Three Implications

FOR COREWEAVE CUSTOMERS The joint release names four capabilities, including Falcon Complete Cloud Security for 24/7 managed detection and response; it gives no pricing or availability terms.

FOR DELL AI FACTORY BUYERS The Dell release says customers can purchase AI infrastructure and CrowdStrike security together through Dell’s AI Ecosystem Program, with Dell MDR managing the CrowdStrike capabilities.

FOR CROWDSTRIKE INVESTORS 24/7 Wall St. reported a Deutsche Bank upgrade to Buy with a $300 target on the same day the stock traded down 3% early in the session; neither release gives a revenue figure for the deals.

The Business Engineer Lens

This story maps onto the Business Engineer framework The AI Embedding Business Model.

The framework puts the shift in one line: “Your product stops being the thing companies buy and becomes the thing other systems assume exists.”

As we read it, both deals push Falcon in that direction: a CoreWeave or Dell AI Factory buyer meets CrowdStrike as part of the compute purchase, not as a separate security tender. The framework is the owner’s argument and does not discuss CrowdStrike.

What Is Not Established

Neither joint release gives financial terms, pricing, a revenue split, a committed spend or a customer count, and neither says whether CoreWeave resells Falcon or lists it in a marketplace; the CoreWeave release says only that CoreWeave is bringing Falcon to its customers. The Dell release gives no date for the planned NVIDIA Sentry and BlueField-4 integrations. Our reading is based on the joint releases as published on CrowdStrike’s site; we did not contact the companies. The share price and analyst action come from 24/7 Wall St., and the 7, 6 and 362 figures are our arithmetic.

The Bottom Line

CrowdStrike used Fal.Con Europe to put Falcon inside two AI compute channels on the same day: CoreWeave’s cloud, where CrowdStrike runs the 24/7 managed response, and the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, where Dell’s MDR service manages it. Falcon Cloud Security is the one product in both, by our count of the two releases.
