Goldman Sachs Predicts SpaceX AI Revenue Will Hit $34.5B by 2027 — Up 9,900% From Today

Goldman Sachs just published its SpaceX initiation of coverage ahead of the June 12 IPO. The headline number: SpaceX’s AI revenue will reach $34.5 billion by 2027 — a 9,900% increase from its current base. In 2026 alone, Goldman projects AI earnings of $15.6 billion, a 388% jump.

This is not a startup fantasy projection. Goldman is the co-lead on SpaceX’s $75 billion IPO. This is the investment bank’s own forecast for a company it’s actively selling to institutional investors at $135/share.

Where the AI Revenue Comes From

SpaceX’s AI revenue has three sources, each scaling at different rates:

GPU cloud services. The $11 billion Google contract (110,000 GPUs, $920M/month) is the proof point. SpaceX inherited xAI’s massive GPU fleet from the February merger. Instead of using all of it for Grok training, SpaceX is renting excess capacity to hyperscalers who can’t build data center — as explored in the economics of AI compute infrastructure — s fast enough. If SpaceX signs 2-3 more contracts at Google-scale, the cloud business alone could reach $20B+ annually.

Grok enterprise licensing. xAI’s model, now integrated into the SpaceX stack, is being positioned for enterprise deployment — particularly in industries where Starlink provides the connectivity and Grok provides the intelligence. Satellite-connected AI for maritime, aviation, defense, and remote industrial operations.

Starlink AI features. AI-powered network optimization, predictive maintenance for the satellite constellation, and premium AI services delivered over Starlink’s global connectivity layer. The 5+ million Starlink subscribers become an AI distribution channel.

The $225 Billion IPO Year

Goldman’s equity analysts now expect large companies to raise a record $225 billion in IPOs this year — almost 6x last year. SpaceX ($75B), Anthropic (TBD), and OpenAI — as explored in the intelligence factory race between AI labs — (Q4) are the mega-listings, but the pipeline includes dozens of AI-adjacent companies riding the wave.

The AI IPO window is open — but only for companies that can show a path from GPU consumption to sustainable revenue. Goldman’s 9,900% growth projection for SpaceX is the most aggressive forecast attached to any IPO in history. If SpaceX delivers even half of it, the $1.77 trillion valuation holds. If it doesn’t, the entire AI IPO class gets repriced.

June 12 is six days away.
