Important distinction (per Craig Federighi):Apple uses none of Google’s consumer products — no Gemini app, no Google Assistant code, no Google Search, no Google deployment infrastructure. Apple licenses the base model technology and builds its own entire stack on top. The Gemini engine runs underneath Apple’s hood, but everything the user touches is Apple-built.
