We’re living in a unique time where we’re seeing the emergence of an inevitable technology, which sits on top of a computing paradigm that makes it into a sort of “horizontal enabling layer” that is – in my opinion – turning it into an economic supercycle.

Now, what are the implications of all this?
We’re just in the first phase of what I’ve called The Web².
However, and that’s the interesting take, as The Web² will be shaped up, it will also work to layer up on top of emerging technologies, finally viable by AI.
Thus, it turns into a re-inforcing loop of faster economic progression.
Thus, in the first phase, from a career perspective, it makes sense to look at the “first layer” of jobs that will be redefined by AI. And paradoxically, these are precisely the jobs created through the web itself…
Web-Native Jobs: The First Jobs Layer
In this phase, AI reshapes digital professions, targeting three key areas: Content Creation, Knowledge Work, and Digital Services.
Thanks to the Internet, these roles, which have been the latest in terms of market development, will also be the first to be redefined.
