The Three Stages of Learning

The Three Stages of Learning.

The Four Week MBA team knows how hard is to learn a subject for the first time. Usually the learning process goes like this. In Stage One (theoretical framework), you approach the subject and you are very confused and don’t know where to start. At this stage is very important to have someone who guides you thru the process of selecting the topics that you need to learn. This will give you an overall view of the subject and a theoretical framework. Once scratched the surface and comprehended the theoretical framework, it is time to practice what you learned. In Stage Two (practical application), the practical application will allow the acquired knowledge to be transitioned from the short term memory to the long term one. Once the process is completed you will develop a complete understanding of the subject. In the Third Stage (memory maintenance) implies that in order for you to retain the knowledge acquired you will need to quickly review the subject periodically. The frequency with which you review the subject will drop in time and will allow you to retain the knowledge forever. This sort of maintenance is necessary, since our neurons work according to the “use it or lose it” principle. The neural pathways who are not traveled will eventually be abandoned and our brain will forget.

The Four Week MBA wants to make sure you will never forget what you learned. If you are looking to learn about Financial Accounting, then follow the three stages of learning below:

Stage One (Theoretical Framework): Make sure to enroll in “How to become a financial analyst from scratch”. The course will allow you to compete the first stage of learning and give you a complete theoretical framework of the subject.

Make sure you put 100% of effort in solving the exercise. This stage is of great importance in memory retention. The More the effort you will put to solve the exercises, the more your neural pathways will be strengthen, with consequent boost in memory retention.
